The Boys and Girls Basketball Teams battle in the quarterfinals tonight as they commence their quest for dual state titles. Both teams are the #1 seeds in the VISAA Division 3 Playoff Brackets, and will take on their quarterfinal opponents tonight.

Our Girls Team will tip at 5:30 and take on the #9 Wakefield Lady Owls, who defeated #8 Fuqua last night. This will be the first time these teams have faced this year. Their only common opponent this season was Amelia Academy, who defeated the Lady Owls 40-37. The Lady Eagles won out over Amelia at home 74-49.

The Boys will tip after the girls, with an estimated game start of 7PM. The Eagles square off against a familiar opponent, Metro foe Portsmouth Christian, who they most recently defeated in the Metro Semi-Finals 61-53. The Eagles handled PCS in two other matchups in the regular season as well, 58-52 away and 91-57 at home.

We are hoping to see the ENTIRE Big Blue Crew tonight to give us an insurmountable home court advantage!!
