Flexible Learning Environment Options

Families at Williamsburg Christian Academy can elect full virtual learning for their student’s education. Students in the virtual learning program take all the same classes as those onsite and attend classroom lectures and activities remotely as if they are seated in the classroom.

Remote learning allows parents and students to elect remote learning in the event of extended illness, or to limit exposure to seasonal or pandemic viruses

Virtual students may also elect to attend school onsite on occasion with 24 hours’ notice to the Upper School Dean so that proper arrangements can be made. All standards required of onsite students will apply to virtual learning program students on those days.

WCA keeps student engaged in class by requiring that PC or phone cameras be on during synchronous virtual learning, and students must be in dress code.

Our Brightspace Learning management System and school issued Chromebooks make virtual learning possible... and makes it low stress!

As full time WCA students, remote learners are still entitled to join and compete on our athletics teams and participate in clubs.
