WCA’s Field Hockey program is rooted in developing student athletes mentally, emotionally,
and spiritually, through the guidance of seasoned Coach, Shannon Meyyar. The team has been
thriving for over 5 years now and has typically been either a Junior JV or a JV level team.
However, with the continuity of our current young members, the hope is to develop into a
Varsity team in the prospective future. Field Hockey is a non-conference sport and the team
typically plays other teams anywhere from the Greater Richmond area to Virginia Beach. The
team is still looking for new members to complete their roster.
