WCA Presents Canaan Smith’s Coming Home Concert October 23rd!

The WCA Marketing Team in conjunction with the Williamsburg Christian Academy Parent Teacher League (PTL) is pleased to announce our fall fundraiser. We have an exciting and rare opportunity to host a Nashville music star for our fundraiser. Williamsburg’s Country Music Star, Canaan Smith, returns home on Sunday October 23 to perform at Lake Matoaka Amphitheater. Canaan’s Platinum-certified single “Love You Like That” hit #1 on the Billboard chart and is being followed up with more hits from his debut album, BRONCO.
Bronco is the title track and is the story of the loss of his brother, Nathaniel, who passed away in a car accident over twenty years ago. Nathaniel was very active in mission work in Mexico and at Williamsburg Christian Academy. This concert will benefit his brother’s “Nathaniel Reid Smith Mission and Scholarship” fund at the school.
Canaan and his siblings attended WCA for many years before graduating from Lafayette High School. He holds a special place in his heart for this school and the Christian values it instilled in him. His entire family will be back home to attend the concert and to celebrate his brother’s mission and scholarship work. Plan to bring your family to meet Canaan’s family as we all enjoy his music together.
You will be seeing advertisements around town and on social media sites and hearing announcements on country radio stations US106 and 98.1. Don’t miss this homecoming event!! Please invite your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors etc. We want to show Canaan the love WCA has for him and his family.
Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster with the public announcement of this event. We will have various tiered pricing options including General Admission lawn seats $25, Gold reserved seating $45 and a limited number of VIP tickets $100. This will be a family event so plan to bring your kids, enjoy food trucks and kids activities.
