Williamsburg Christian Academy Launches New Alumni Association Website

alumni

On this WCA’s 40th Anniversary, the staff at Williamsburg Christian Academy launched their Alumni Network Campaign to connect with our many years of graduates, reconnect them with each other, and integrate our alumni with our current students and community. The first step of this campaign is the rollout of the new Alumni Association website located at alumni.williamsburgchristian.org. The site starts off with a fun introduction landing page, with pages of past yearbooks turning in the background. On the main page, past graduates are asked to take an alumni survey to find out what our alums are up to and to gather contact information to keep our alumni connected on new events.

Additional sections of the website are a ‘Get Involved‘ page dedicated to involving our past graduates with the WCA ministry through volunteer opportunities, and a new Alumni Career Guidance Ambassador program, which connects WCA past graduates with current students who are interested in the alums current or past career fields. Another segment of the website describes how past graduates can give back to the WCA ministry through bank deduction, gifts of stock and through tax credit programs.

Incoming inputs from the survey and those that visit the ‘Connect With Us‘ page of the site will be collected and reported on the ‘WCA Alumni News’ page. The news will be grouped by timetable, but the hopes that are eventually the news can be grouped by ranges of years of graduation.

Once the Alumni coordinator has sufficient inputs and contact info from enough of our past graduates, a limited access alumni directory will be added to the site to allow them to look up and connect with one another, and an event calendar will be added as WCA starts to build events for our Alumni Association.

We welcome all to check out the new site, and if you are an alumnus, we urge you to take the quick alumni survey so we can start building our database!

Those that have questions about the site or the Network campaign can direct those inquiries here.
