In conjunction with the honoring of first responders and military members at Williamsburg Christian Academy’s WCADay event, the WCA Board announced that starting in school year 2017-2018, children of first responders and active duty military will receive a 15% discount off student tuition at WCA.
” We are pleased and excited to be able to give back to those that give so much to our community. The WCA Board and school leadership believe that WCA is a stronger institution when we have students coming from active duty military and public safety families. It is imperative for us to not only encourage our active duty military and first responder families to become members of our community, but to make it easier for them to do so as well,” explained the WCA Board and Leadership in a joint statement announcing the establishment of the discount.
In addition to this discount, many active duty military and first responder families may find that they also qualify for Virginia Educational Improvement program scholarship funds, which are available to many families below certain income thresholds who meet some eligibility requirements, making it even easier for those families to set their child down a path of top-notch Christ-centered college preparatory education.
We encourage any prospective new families to visit our Admissions website to learn more about WCA, and learn how to set up a personalized tour, or student shadow for a day at WCA, and see firsthand the difference WCA could make in your child’s future. Contact admissions@williamsburgchristian.org to arrange a tour or shadow.
