Curriculum is an often misunderstood element of any school program.  This seminar will guide attendees through the myths of curriculum and will present an easy to understand, in-depth explanation of the purpose and goals of impactful curriculum.  We’ll explore cutting edge research on curriculum and learning, and how curriculum can be used to improve teaching and increase student learning, how all relate to the Curriculum Engineering project that WCA is embarking upon, and what the school’s vision is for creating dynamic classroom experiences for all students in grades K3-12.

This seminar is free and open to the public, and will be presented by Williamsburg Christian Academy Head of School Dr. David Breslin. WCA families are encouraged to invite friends and acquaintances to gain a better understanding of how curriculum are developed and what they should be looking for from the curriculum in their school.
