College Consultant, Writer and Speaker Pamela Rambo to Assist WCA High School Students

Williamsburg Christian Academy has announced that Pam Rambo, head of Rambo Research and Consulting, has been hired as a consultant to oversee college and career planning and college readiness at the school.

Rambo’s mission at the school will be to help students determine the right major for their interests and skillsets, pinpoint the colleges that will best meet their needs and identify resources to help pay for it. Pam has in-depth knowledge of the college admissions and financial aid processes and has professional counseling skills to help students and parents understand them.

Pam works with students individually. She also speaks to parent, student, education and industry groups about college prep, admissions, majors and financing. Quoted by NBC News, US News, ramboReuter’s Money, and Fox News, her mission is to reduce family stress, help students realize their potential and prepare them to earn enough to pay off their student loans and eventually live self-reliantly.

“Pam Rambo is a rare professional who brings decades of director-level experience in admissions, scholarships, academic & career counseling, financial aid, and assessment. She understands parents, teens, college students, and adults and knows what they need to be successful. We are delighted to have her working with our students in their college and career plans” remarked Head of School Johnny Graham.

She already has several events planned, including the brand new Rising Senior College Readiness Bootcamp which will be mandatory for all students in the Class of 2020 the week prior to school starting, as well as a Parent College Readiness Seminar that will be held in the evening the second week of school. Pam will also be scheduling college visits, and identifying opportunities for college fairs off-campus.

Pam will reachable at WCA at collegeadvisement@williamsburgchristian.org.
