WCA DAY: A Celebration of our Area Communities and To Honor those that Serve and Protect our Communities and Nation

WCA invites the area communities, first responders and military personnel for an evening of celebration, thanks and exciting information of the coming school year.

Please join us at Williamsburg Christian Academy on Monday, May 22^nd between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM to enjoy a family picnic meal with fun activities for the children and to ask your questions about what is happening at WCA.

WCA Day was first held in 2015, as an event to give thanks to the Lord for His gracious provision of our school, and to review the past school year and look forward to new and exciting things coming the next school year.

This year’s WCA Day will be led off with a recap of this amazing school year by Head of School Dr. Dave Breslin, a year in which we actually increased our enrollment from the start of the school year, and take a sneak peek at what lies in store for the 2017-2018 school year. The event will then pass through the gymnasium where many of our programs will be set up on tables to preview what the plans are for next year, and showcase the beginning of several new programs that are being rolled out. Among others, a new Chess Club and an EcoClub for students interested in spending time and resources taking action to preserve and protect God’s Creation through recycling, beautification and other activities, will both be introduced.

Finally, the event will, weather permitting, spill out into the rear lawn, where we will have food from Two Drummers Barbecue and others, fun games, and great music.

As previously mentioned, WCA Day 2017 this year pays tribute to first responders and active duty military, those that serve our community and country. We encourage the WCA community to invite any first responders or active duty military to this event, as well as friends and relatives to help us celebrate!
