The PTL hopes this note comes to you as you have enjoyed a blessed Thanksgiving holiday with those closest to you.
The PTL in conjunction with the Key Club is planning and organizing a parade float for the upcoming Christmas parade next Saturday in Colonial Williamsburg. A flyer was sent home last Friday with the lower school students announcing our participation and asking for student sign ups as well as describing the costumes. A copy of this information is attached to this email for all students and families.
Please respond by submitting the attached forms (click links below) to your teacher or front office this coming Monday or Tuesday if you would like to participate.
The theme of he WCA parade float is “The Night Before Christmas” and will be a stable with sheep, shepherds, 3 wise men and Mary and Joseph. The younger students will be dressed as sheep and on the float and the older students will be dressed as the other characters and walking behind the float. A materials list is provided and we ask that you send any supplies to school with your student on Monday or Tuesday or bring them to the front office.
A craft and create night will be held at the school Thursday Dec 1 from 5-9PM. Please bring any incomplete costumes and supplies to this session to complete your costume. The PTL will provide snacks.
The parade starts at 8:00 am and all participants should arrive by 7:30 am. More information will be sent out next week with maps and specific parking and carpool information.
