Last week during our Prayer Buddies Chapel, we launched our Operation Christmas Child Shoe box Drive. For those unfamiliar, Operation Christmas Child is a charitable program run by Samaritan’s purse. From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country, and even in the packing and shipping process, stop work routinely to pray for the children who will receive the boxes.

During our assembly the video below was played with a light-hearted look at how to pack a great shoe box based on items that can or cannot be shipped in them. We hope that you will join us in this act of holiday giving, thanking God for all He has given us. If you do not have a child at the school, and would like to contribute a shoebox, please follow these directions and drop the box off at WCA or another dropoff location convenient to you,
