Spirit Week 2018 is finally here and is the lead up to the annual Homecoming basketball game on Friday and Homecoming Dance (our first ever Glow-in-the-Dark Homecoming event-GLOCO) on Saturday.  Each year the SCA pools their collective funny bones to come up with categories of zany dress-up days to engage the upper school students in a week of fun bonding and memories!

This year’s categories (already in progress):

MONDAY 1/8- MATHLETES Vs. ATHLETES: Dress up a bookworm or a Sports Fan or athlete- You pick em!

TUESDAY 1/9- TIME TRAVEL DAY: Go back to the past or forge your creativity into the future and dress up like a student from a time period that is not your own!

WEDNESDAY- 1/10- OCCUPATION DAY: Dress up as a worker in any occupation you want (well, almost any occupation…keep it real, folks)

THURSDAY- 1/11- DRESS LIKE A FOOD DAY: Thinking we don’t have to explain this one…

FRIDAY- 1/12- CLASS COLOR DAY: Each class dresses up in the designated color: Class of 2012: YELLOW, Class of 2020: Blue, Class of 2019: Green, Class of 2018: Red

This year Middle School is Joining in the fun as well. All the Spirit Week days are the same, and Middle School students will wear white for 8th, black for 7th and pink for 6th grade on the class color day.

Spirit Week culminates in the Homecoming Basketball Game Friday night where we will crown the Homecoming King and Queen, and on Saturday night with our first ever Glow-in-the-dark Homecoming Dance (GLOCO) on Saturday at 8PM. Students can purchase GLOCO tickets for just $20 at the front office up to the event. Students are welcome from other schools with an approved guest form filled out and submitted.
