WCA Adds Gibbons at Athletic Director, Welcomes Back Bradshaw (’02) as Admissions Director

Williamsburg Christian Academy has named Pam Gibbons as their new Athletic Director, WCA Class of 2002 Alum Cassie Bradshaw as Admissions Director, and Cristi Nice in a new position, Director of Student Affairs. All three positions started effective the first week in August.

Athletic Director

Pam Gibbons, the parent of a rising WCA 8th grader and President of the WCA Community Association, has agreed to be our Athletic Director for 2018-2019. Pam is thrilled to increase her service at WCA. Pam was a student-athlete who played three varsity sports all four years in high school then went to James Madison University where she earned her B.S. and later earned her M.S. from Indiana University. Having led our running club for the last three years, she is familiar with our athletic program and students. Cassie Bradshaw, a WCA alumnus from the Class of 2002, has been named WCA’s new Director of Admissions and Development Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 majoring in Elementary Education and earned a M.A. from Sarasota University in 2016. She has worked recently as a church administrator and was Vice President for Accreditation of a non-profit accrediting educational organization for four years. Her family is relocating to Williamsburg this summer and her two boys will be attending WCA in the fall. Cassie can be reached at admissions@williamsburgchristian.org

Cristi Nice has served in several areas at WCA including the enrichment department, lunch program, preschool and this past year as upper school Interim Dean of Students. This year she joining the staff as the Director of Student Affairs responsible for enforcing upper school attendance and discipline policies along with overseeing community service and clubs for the Middle and Upper school. Cristi earned her degree in Criminal Justice at Radford University. Her oldest daughter is a WCA alumnus and her youngest daughter will be a senior at WCA.
