Williamsburg Christian Academy’s Kindergarten Gingerbread Man Recovery Team (GMRT) was called into action when a host of gingerbread men was spotted running loose in the hallways and classrooms of WCA. The gingerbread man foolishly left clues as to where he might go next throughout the school.  Students deliriously ran from classroom to gym, to the 1st grade classroom, then through the front office, into the library, and art studio before the holiday-spiced fugitives were eventually captured in Mrs. Lanier’s room in the traps that the children had set. The search was aided by Athletic Director Kraig Ware, Head of Administration Rob Campbell (who bestowed each chaser a candy cane to fuel their further efforts), Librarian Regina Doran, and by Mrs. Watson’s 1st grade class and Mrs. Flanagan’s art class. Unfortunately for the gingerbread men, they are very tasty, and were quickly eaten by the children.
