WCA Middle School Awards Ceremony Recap
On, May 25th, the faculty of our Middle school (6th-8th) held the end of year Middle School awards ceremony, to recognize various students for the excellence in academics, character traits, and conduct in the classroom honoring to God.

The David award is given to a student who consistently desires to do what pleases God.
Joseph David Atkins
The Joseph award is given to a student who has learned and lives an example of patience, endurance, and accomplishment.
Deborah Chismer Branscome
The Deborah award is given to a student who follows Christ with a whole heart and shows unconditional obedience.
Lydia Brooke Kelley
The Lydia award is given to a student who sets an example of breaking away from the crowd in order to do what honors Christ.
Ruth Mary Nice
The Ruth award is given to a student who Shows commitment and dedication to pursuing excellence for the Lord in academics and extracurriculars.
Principals Awards
This is given to students (one per grade) who have modeled Christ like behavior (in their spirit, attitude, kindness to others, and in their words). These students represent Christ-like self-control and a balanced approach to student life (both academic and behavioral). They are examples of what a school principal would describe as outstanding in their character and self-discipline. (*These students may not have any documented behavioral consequences for the entire school year, including before school detention)
