Student Life

Middle and Upper school students are seen as role models and they are expected to positively impact the lower school community. Every lower school student is paired up with a middle or upper school student each fall through the Prayer Buddy program. Prayer Buddies spend time together during special events throughout the year, allowing for meaningful and impactful interaction between students in the different divisions. Character traits such as leadership, compassion, and cooperation are reinforced through the Prayer Buddy program.
As a Christian school, the Gospel is presented to students through weekly chapels, Bible classes, voluntary Bible studies, and daily interactions. Retreats at the start of each year for middle and high school students give opportunities for fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Upper school students have the opportunity to serve around the world on teacher-led mission trips.
Did you know that our leadership class and technology team collaborated to win the grand prize of the national Duralife UnLocker Challenge? The two groups have collaborated to submit several entries to C-SPAN's StudentCam competition, entries that have placed third and among the very selective honorable mention (top 5%) categories.
