WCA is dedicated to helping to develop the entire child, and we offer a wide range of student activities and opportunities that enrich the overall student experience. We offer multiple opportunities for students to explore their talents and interests through our student life program. Club opportunities are available to students in all three divisions. Student-produced video productions have placed high nationally, and a 2016 student-produced video won a national competition winning the school new lockers and scholarship money. Among our many other club offerings are Mock Trial, Lego Robotics League, Flag Corps, Chess Club, EcoClub, Debate, Praise Band and Chorus. 

Middle and Upper school students are seen as role models and they are expected to positively impact the lower school community. Every lower school student is paired up with a middle or upper school student each fall through the Prayer Buddy program. Prayer Buddies spend time together during special events throughout the year, allowing for meaningful and impactful interaction between students in the different divisions. Character traits such as leadership, compassion, and cooperation are reinforced through the Prayer Buddy program.

 

As a Christian school, the Gospel is presented to students through weekly chapels, Bible classes, voluntary Bible studies, and daily interactions. Retreats at the start of each year for middle and high school students give opportunities for fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Upper school students have the opportunity to serve around the world on teacher-led mission trips.
