The International Program
at WCA

The International Program at WCA is an immersive experience that builds relationships and a strong sense of community in a safe, structured environment that helps nurture every student. We invite our students into a community of care that they can call home.

Our International Program consists of two programs: Our Full Year program runs the length of the school year for students ready to fully enroll at WCA. Our WCA Immersions Short Stay Program is a summer or break program running from 1-6 weeks and helps immerse students in American Culture and our school community, building the English Learning schools, and allowing for a great American experience in a shorter visit timeframe. Many of our Short stay students love their time at WCA so much, they decide to enroll at WCA full time after the Short Stay Program! Click on either program below to learn more.

In the place where America was born...

WCA is located just Northwest of Williamsburg, Virginia, the Colonial capitol of America in its erly days. Also nearby are Jamestown Settlement, the first successful settlement in America, and Yorktown, the site of British General Cornwallis' surrender in the American Revolution.

Also within driving distance are Washington, DC, the peaks of the Appalachian Mountain range, and the white sandy beaches of Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

In a Caring and Nurturing Environment

Williamsburg Christian Academy’s homestay program sets us apart by offering international students more than just a place to stay—it provides a family experience. Host families open their homes and hearts, creating a safe and welcoming environment where students can practice English, embrace American culture, and build lifelong connections while excelling academically.

My homestay experience has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time at WCA. From the first day, my host family welcomed me as part of their home, which made it much easier to adjust to a new culture and environment. They encouraged me, helped me with everyday life, and shared traditions that made me feel a part of the community. Because of this support, I was able to focus on my studies, make friends, and truly feel like I belong at WCA and in the U.S.

- International Student

We are very happy with our son's homestay family. From the very beginning, they welcomed him as a true member of their family. They are dynamic, kind, and above all, deeply committed to making him feel at home. His homestay family is attentive to everything he needs, and he feels completely comfortable and supported with them. We believe it has been both a great success and a stroke of luck to have such a wonderful family hosting our son during his stay this year.
