Close your checkbook, and open your heart. Although cash donations are very much a necessity to WCA’s long-term health and to help students with scholarship needs, not everyone has the ability to contribute monetarily.

There are dozens of ways that you can help out Williamsburg Christian Academy with donations of time and skills, by diverting Virginia tax dollars to WCA through the use of tax credits, and even by simply shopping for what you already buy!

Here are Ten Ways to help WCA:

New2You: The New2You Thrift store takes donations (which you can write off on your taxes), and then sells those items. The net proceeds are donated directly to WCA!! Located at 4500 John Tyler Highway in Williamsburg. New2You also cooperatively contributes to our School Store. New2You is having a Pre-Christmas sidewalk sale with lots of top-shelf Christmas decor for the upcoming season on September 21st and 22nd.

Show Your Colors: We have dozens of very cool and hip Eagle Gear offerings including t-shirts, polos, hats and all kinds of varieties of gear for the WCA faithful in the WCA Spirit Shop! The Spirit Shop will be offering 20% off everything on September 5th and 6th….don’t miss out! A portion of all sales (20%) goes to WCA programs.

Spirit Nights: Spirit nights are generally planned throughout the year in both eateries and other venues that will be fundraisers for Athletic Boosters and regular school funds.

To Top it Off: As always, we have our BoxTops program. Submitting Box Tops to the office allows us to turn them in for funds we can use for books and other educational supplies.

Power Boost: If you are paying money to buy tickets to athletic contests, a membership to the WCA Athletics Boosters gets you and your family into all contests free and higher levels come with apparel perks. Go Eagles!!

May I tag you?: Most of our local grocery retailers, including Harris Teeter, have Education reward programs. At Harris Teeter, your VIC card can be linked to WCA, and every purchase of Harris Teeter brands gives money to the school.

Join the WCA Community Association! Our WCACA is extraordinary and helps the school not only in events, but also fundraisers, and in tasks that if we did not have volunteers to help complete, would cost the school thousands of dollars. Join the WCACA!
